Been working with young gun Callum Heath on a few different boards in our USC stringerless construction. Everything from small-wave twins to step-ups… and this one here, a lively little thruster.

It’s based on one of his all-time favourite shortboards, but we went a touch thin on this first go. You can see it in the way it goes — just needs a bit more foam under the front foot and a couple of tweaks for round for the net version .

That’s the fun part of working closely with a surfer: plenty of feedback, a bit of back-and-forth, and boards that keep getting better each time.
