Board Talk 6'8 BOY

Surfboard design talk by the owner head designer and shaper Eden Scallan . Explaining one of his favourite twin fin models called the Best One Yet or BOY . Something I did not talk about in the video , is the key idea that by having the extra rail length : ie riding a bigger board you can drop down to the two fins with more confidence . Because what we want to do with this board is surf more of the rail line , use the rail to our advantage ! Surf smoother , with less effort and bang when you hit the power source and want to change direction the free-ness of the twinny allows you change direction with no obvious drag that a thruster would give you .

Style is subjective but Short short boards are super fun and have a place in the quiver but delete style if you are not careful , style is born from length , engaging the rail to turn , not pivoting on super short radius , which is a negative if you want to flow into your next turn .Some may get this , some may not , you can even disagree but that is what surfing is a wide genre of a personal pursuit of a good feeling its not really a sport, well its more a great way to waste your time whilst having the best fun !
