Sunny lives in Taiwan and added the Fuzz Nutz to his Formula Energy quiver . 

Dimensions on the board are 6'0 by 19 7/8 by 2 1/2 , @ 32.72 litres. Black Deck ..

The Fuzz Nutz really suits beach breaks and waves where you want the surfboard to maintain speed over flatter sections.

You can really see the exaggerated hip on the this black on black planshape . The hip breaks the parallel outline and allows the board to pivot or turn ... And maintain speed and drive through the arc of your turns .

Its a fun , fast small wave board with hidden volume , you should ride as a quad fin , but will work on really small days as a twin as well .

Old School Grip

Back in the 1980's deck grips and tail pads were dominated by companies like Astro Deck and the good old Rocket Block . 

Astro Deck had the red hot surf team and the grip was hard to get being from the USA but everyone wanted it on there surfboards .

Rocket Block designed this kicker which was attached with velcro , you could take it on or off . Most times a wave ended up ripping it off and as a grommet you were very upset losing your new surf hardware !

And then the velcro stuck to your surfboard would cut your knees to shred over the summer ! Them were the days !

Of course we are not using velcro to attach our new design . It's a High quality 3m adhesive .

Our new signature T BAR TAIL PAD is inspired from past experiences. 

The idea is pretty simple , most surfers like to feel connected to their surfboards and as close to the water line, the more you can engage your board .This T BAR design is like adding a tail pad without losing that connection.Having the kicker and arch bar ,adds something to push against which in some cases wax can let you down .

But by removing the side grip your toes and most of heel is will feel more connected to the surfboard and your wax job .

Its super light , quick and easy to apply (one piece).
With a superior design ,rear Tail Pad extra traction updated diamond grip pattern.

Out Of This World

Out of this world , USC Alien for Shaun who ordered a replacement for a Formula Energy surfboard that was over five years old !

Five years is long time , and the new updated Alien has a been tweaked and some design changes to improve the overall performance of the ultimate high performance fish .

Here is a brief explanation on the improvements

Improved Alien Breakdown .

• Improved Flat Fish Rocker
• Single To Double Concave bottom
• Flatter deck line with even foam distribution foil.
• Slighter wider tail pod.
• Symmetrical Swallow Tail 
• Way more accurately made surfboard .

This Alien is 5'10 by 19 3/4 by 2 9/16  , 29.86 litres plain white deck !

No Smoking

The deck on this USC Predator model surfboard not just good looking lavender / purple colour, but is actually a hemp composite material inlayed into the deck designed to add durability and strength 

 There is No Smoking this one , the Hemp is blend of an organic hemp material and PET recycled plastic , we also have it available in MINT GREEN as well.  

At the moment  we are also testing a couple ofnew Hemp blends that is combined with "Tencel".Tencel or "lyocell" which is another sustainable fabric, regenerated from wood cellulose. It is similar to rayon and bamboo, both regenerated fabrics. Colours are light blue and black .

Tencel is one of the most environmentally friendly regenerated fabrics, for several reasons. Tencel fibers are grown sustainably ,  on farms not old growth forests.

If you are heavy on the decks of your boards or if your boards are not lasting then the alternate materials are the go .

Getting three seasons plus out the USC plus combination Hemp range is common. Some surfers have got surfboards that are five years old and still going strong !

The Hemp / Tencel will be available in a couple of new colours. Stay tuned we will give it a some heavy testing in extreme situations and let you know !
