Lastly, just got back from a solo-mission to Iceland, must be the most northerly point a Formula board has been? – from the southern Hemi to the Arctic. I’ve attached a few pics .
Jacks New Nemo
Jack’s new custom USC Nemo
6”1 by 21 by 2 7/8 , 39 litres
Rounded pin , custom to Jack’s requirements .
We added more wide through the tail pod and moved away from the traditional swallow set up into a round pin .
The versatility of a good paddler with plenty of width and foam under the chest which the Nemo is known for , but the tail shape as a rounded pin to give a little more hold through turns in bigger surf .
With the evolved cleaner deck lines and even foam distribution , a true custom surfboard !
The Sacred Geometrcal art “THE FLOWER OF LIFE” on the deck.
And Coffee Resin Tint on the bottom.
For a couple of tropical weightless drops ! Nice work Jack !

Jack Grady loves his tropical sojourns , whether its Indonesia or Maldives , he always packs a couple of Formula Energy boards . He called in the factory to talk boards and fine tune his next board for his next dream trip to the the tropics !

Formula Energy are stoked to announce Bryce Young ,the youngest member of the ”Young Clan” from Angourie NSW has joined the team to collaborate/ design and test ride and push our surfboards on and above the lip.

Bryce is stoked to be working with the USC Technology and other new materials .Designing and working with surfboards is his passion and the collaboration was such a natural fit .
Bryce will surf anything and everything and with that open mindedness , we have opportunities to pursue cutting edge design through Bryce’s talent ..We can collaborate , design , ride and evolve ..
Currently Bryce , Jason and the team are developing new designs using cutting edge materials ..
Implementing ways to push ”materials” to a more sustainable durable surfboard but keep performance surfing at the forefront of they mantra.
Bryce blew minds last year in Indonesia and Vissla Surf has signed him and expect to see some fresh clips and footage soon around the world wide web.
