Alien Shooter
USC Alien Step up 6'6 by 19 3/4 by 2 9/16th ( 34 litres ), custom for Tony ,heading for the "Coal Coast" in Southern NSW.
The purple colour on the deck on this Alien Step Up surfboard is actually an organic hemp material thats combined with recycled plastic bottles . The plastics have been broken down into small pellets , it goes by the name Hemp/ PET material .
Its a great alternate way to make a surfboard more durable, especially for heavy footed surfers who tend to crush / damage there decks, but it still retains those performance aspects of a modern surfboard.
Hemp is way more environmentally friendly than our traditional cotton .
For example you require about half the amount of water to produce hemp as you would if producing cotton. Hemp is a strong and reliable plant that grows very quickly. Not only that, hemp produces about 200% – 250% more fibre in the same amount of land compared to cotton.

Hemp Decks
Above is the Hemp cloth inlay on the deck , providing durability from a cool looking sustainable material that replaces another layer of traditional fibreglass cloth .
Hemp material is one of the strongest natural fibres on the earth .
Previously its been associated with heavy brown coloured low performance type surfboards . Good idea but to sluggish to ride and look a tad ugly .
But by combining the hemp/pet material with modern laminating techniques and using the performance based parabolic carbon rails of the USC range , you get a cool looking surfboard that not only will look better long term , with a more durable deck, with less foot wells and indentations, depressions and its totally UV protected from the Sun !
Without compromising any performance characteristics of modern performance surfboard.

With this service , you collect your board from your Qantas Freight counter at your destinations airport .
Qantas guarantees the board within 3 days of it being checked it at our end ,Coolangatta. Most cases it goes on the next available flight .
The rates are actually similar to Road Freight which takes longer ( up to 7 days ) but is a door to door service.

This model just sit under a High Performance board like the SAVAGE in the range
Its for surf conditions whereby your high performance board just is not going to cut it but you don't want to ride a fish .
The BV2 is quite deceiving as it hides a wider outline , the extra foam adds stability as you transition from rail to rail and hold with the the round tail, for a smooth type of surfing .
Then combined with the rocker instant planing speed and flow through your turns .
Bigger guys love this model ,it paddles well , with extra foam in all the right areas and without sacrificing any performance aspects.
